2024 Roster Rollout Comes to a Close

by Louis DeCarolis

The Clovers 2024 roster rollout will come to a close leading into the beginning of the NCAA & NJCAA seasons. The Clovers roster currently sits at 42 and there will be plenty of time for things to shift leading into the final roster announcement in May. The Clovers staff has worked diligently to provide the best on field talent in our short 3 years of existing and we can't wait to entertain the good folks of Johnston County!

Tyler Parks (UNC Chapel Hill), Cade Horton (West Alabama), Evan Slawinski (Louisburg), Jackson Crute (Southeastern CC), Caleb Smith (Mars Hill), Mason Moffett (Ferrum), Dylan Smith (UNCG), Dylan Krol (NC Wesleyan), Ethan Oakes (USC Union) & Kaes Carter (IMG Academy) will round out the remaining players coming to Clayton.

There is an even spread of players across all levels of baseball for the Cloveshow. Division 2 takes the lead with 15 Clovers while Division 1 is close behind with 10. D3, Juco & NAIA players combine to make up the remaining 17 spots.

Parks will be a versatile weapon for the Clovers after recently making the transition to catcher. In a very limited role you will also see him on the infield. Caleb Smith is the switch hitting outfielder from Indiana that brings a scrappy presence to the Clovers lineup. Slawinski is a local talent from Cleveland High School who find himself at Louisburg College. The Clovers are also happy to welcome Dylan Smith back to Clayton for the summer who is also a Cleveland High alum. Johnston County native, Dylan  Krol is set to join the pitching staff as well in 2024.
